Corporate Business Plan 2025 - 2029 🎉 Adopted

We’re pleased to share that the 29 July 2025 Ordinary Council Meeting the Corporate Business Plan 2024-2028 was adopted.

The CBP outlines the services and projects to be resourced and delivered over the next four years. It is the key document informing our annual budget and ensuring the activation of the Strategic Community Plan, while aligning with other key strategies like the Asset Management Plan, Long Term Financial Plan, and Workforce Plan.

Each year, the Council and Officers reassess and adjust the CBP activities to ensure they align with the community's vision. The CBP reflects both the aspirations and practical realities, bridging the gap between long-term vision and immediate action. This year, we have successfully secured funding for several priority projects that we have championed through the CBP, and it is exciting to see these projects coming to life.

The Plan is now available on Shire’s website. A copy of the adopted document can also be found in Shire’s offices and libraries in Wyndham and Kununurra.

Draft Corporate Business Plan 2025 - 2029 🎉 June 2025 Update

We’re pleased to share that the draft CBP has been finalised and will be presented to Council at the July Ordinary Council Meeting.

The CBP is a key document that outlines the Shire’s priorities, services, and projects over the next four years. It ensures that the vision and goals set out in the Strategic Community Plan 2023–2033 are translated into actionable outcomes.

This process is a vital part of the Shire’s Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework. It helps us align our resources, respond to community feedback, and deliver on what matters most—liveable, connected, and sustainable communities.
