Progress Update - April 2025

Construction at the Kununurra Leisure Centre continues to advance steadily.

The placement for the retractable shade sails has been set out, and associated earthworks have passed density testing. The section between the leisure pool and the retention tank has now been brought to its required height.

Structural progress includes completion of steelworks for the UAB/CP room, installation of the automated door frame, and clean-up of the old chlorine area demolition works. The first deliveries of stormwater drainage materials and concrete formwork have arrived on site.

Looking ahead, upcoming works include shade sail footings, drainage diversion, hoist installation, battening to the UAB, and concrete works in the plant room. The project remains on track.
