The Specification and Preliminary Plan stage of the design consultancy is underway. A Concept Plan reflecting the staging and current thinking has been prepared by the Architect and return comments have been provided by the Shire.

The Youth Centre component of the Stage 2 works has been identified as potentially meeting the Lotterywest funding requirements. This will be further explored as the design progresses with the view of providing a costed schematic design plan to form the basis of a future funding application.

The Architects had a site visit on Thursday 28th May 2026 including a meeting with the Wyndham Focus Group and a community workshop and BBQ.

The Design Phase is expected to be completed in early 2027 with the Construction Phase works for Stage 1 expected to be completed by late 2028.
